Style? Anything really.. With my production and my sets, I don’t want to limit myself to any one genre. If it makes ya shake ya ass chances are I will try it and play it….
You recently just released an EP on Audio Planet recordings how was it received and what was the feed back on that release? Yeah I released ‘Bounce!’ on Audio Planet a few months back… It got some wicked support and hit top 10 on DJ Tunes.
You seem to be releasing every few months or so, is this a planned thing or do you have a dick load of tunes in the bag just waiting? I do have a few tunes to come out soon, plus I didn’t want to release a new track/remix every couple of days… So I tend to spend a fair amount of time on each project. I figure if someone puts enough faith in me to pay me to remix for them, the least I can do is return that faith by putting everything I can into each remix…
So briefly take us through the typical way you write a track? I could tell you, but I would of course have to kill you.
DAW your using? Ableton.
What artist/s do you have your eye on at the moment? Am a huge wrap for SLOP ROCK, SEEK N DESTROY, AUDIOBOTZ, MOTEZ, RUBBERTEETH, KRAYMER, DAN AUX, LOOPS OF FURY, PEO DE PITTE … Could go on n on….So many amazing artists out there right now… The scene is in good hands…
For those that don’t know you also run Ho-Ju records, How’s business? What have you got coming up? Yeah mate, business has been pretty good.. We have some awesome releases ahead including some tracks n remixes from SLOP ROCK, RIGGERS, FRAGMENTED MINDS, DIRT MONKEY, KRAYMER, ROSSCO, MR EYES, BASS KICKA etc….
From your perspective as a Dj / producer & label owner what do you think of the current dance music scene in Australia? I must say I am a huge fan of where the scene I at the minute. It’s so exciting to see so many new local guy’s n girls have such a huge impact on the EDM Scene worldwide. Really pleased at how much noise is being made from our little island down here!!
